Why Good News Is Meant to Be Shared | Anchor Points | Ep. 13

Have you ever gotten really good news and immediately wanted to tell someone?

There’s something about joy that doesn’t stay contained. It moves. It spreads. It looks for someone to share it with.

In today’s Anchor Point, I’m sharing a simple and unexpected story that captures that kind of excitement and how it reflects something deeper in our faith.

Because when something truly good happens, we don’t hold it in.

And the same can be true for the story of Jesus.

Not out of pressure or obligation, but from a place of joy that naturally wants to be shared.

Scripture (NIV):

Mark 5:19 — “Jesus did not let him, but said, “Go home to your own people and tell them how much the Lord has done for you, and how he has had mercy on you.”

Reflection Questions:

When was the last time I felt excited to share something good?

Do I feel that same joy when it comes to my faith?

What holds me back from sharing it more openly?
