Episode 42
Are You Actually Being Still? | Anchor Points | Ep. 42
When you hear “be still,” what comes to mind?
Is it a quick pause… or a full stop?
In today’s Anchor Point, I’m sharing a simple everyday image that brings this verse to life in a way that’s easy to remember.
Because being still isn’t about slowing down for a second—it’s about fully stopping long enough to listen.
And that’s not always easy.
But it’s where clarity, peace, and direction begin.
Scripture (NIV):
Psalm 46:10 — He says, “Be still, and know that I am God; I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth.”
Reflection Questions:
Do I actually slow down—or just pause briefly?
What distractions keep me from being still?
What would it look like to fully stop and listen?
