That Annoying Interruption Might Be the Point | Anchor Points | Ep. 82

I was working at home, completely focused on what I wanted to finish, when the repairmen showed up hours later than expected. I wasn’t thrilled, and unfortunately, my attitude made that pretty obvious.

What bothered me afterward was realizing that I had treated the interruption as something pulling me away from my faith-filled day. But those men standing at my door weren’t outside of my opportunity to serve God. They were part of it.

Sometimes the moments that interrupt our plans are the exact moments when we get to show someone what Christ looks like in ordinary life.

Scripture (NIV):

Colossians 3:23 — “Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for human masters,”
